Ana Kersnik Žvab

Ana Kersnik Žvab was born in Jesenice, Slovenia, and was a yoga model and an ambassador for Frenetič sports clothes at the age of 19. She has worked in numerous areas of the fashion industry including editorial, catalogue, runway, commercial, television, and short film. It all started when she was a yoga model in Spain and after that also sports model for others companies and sports industry where she also performed in videos and films. She was also a dance performer with the group Mystique on TV shows and a VIP hostess for Serbian music festival Exit and a cup holder for the World Cup Planica. Her first beauty contest was the Miss Yoga Beauty Contest which she won. She got the title Miss Yoga 2012. In March 2014, she was competing for the title Miss of Sports Slovenia 2014. After winning or being a part of a beauty contest, she was running for the titles of Miss Casino Larix 2015, Miss Casino Corona Kranjska Gora 2015, Winter Miss Slovenia, and others. She was also selected to be in the running for the beauty contest Miss Earth Slovenia 2015 and Miss Bikini Slovenia, but she cancelled with the running because of the death of her beloved father. With all these beauty contests, she came from the world of dance and yoga to the fashion industry and started her modelling career. She was selected for Croatian beauty contest Miss Bora Bora 2018 and international beauty contest Miss Yogini Turkey 2018. She does most of the modelling jobs as a swimsuit model and as a boudoir model. She worked with almost all the best photographers in Slovenia and also with Italian photographer Francesco Slavaggio, German photographer Bruce Lee, Croatian photographer Stipe Surać, and many more. Ana is an official model for sports clothes, such as Lets doodle, WearCrap, Frenetič sportswear and also for womens bags Maxikreative of Slovenian designer Maxi Tavčar. She is also a well-known ambassador of UK brand JustStrong, USA Miami Hot Shades, and other big brands all over the world.

In the year 2014, she was selected as a Sports Girl of the Day for the Program Sport Slovenia on television and on Internet page and also landed in several magazines and newspapers. As a top model, she worked with one of the most recognized boudoir photographers Ulla Wolk. She is a model for fashion photographers, such as Tina Ramujkič. As a fashion lover and fashion figure, she is a part of movement #iamallwomen of fashion blogger Nataša Mernik and stylist Katarina Mljač for a fashionable and healthy lifestyle.

In the year 2015, Ana was a part of Fashion Summer School and working with the most recognized models, such as Jana Koteska, Laura Škvorc, and Nataša Naneva. She was also on the runway with Sabina Remar and Iris Mulej. Ana worked with all the well-known photographers and make-up artists, such as Bruce Smith, Saša Hes, and Vanja Djuran. She was also educating with Nancy Bishop, an Emmy Award nominated casting director.

As a boudoir model she was a part of many fashion shows, also selected for big casts, such as VIP Angels, Lisca flashmob, I am all women project, wedding fashion shows, etc. In the year 2015, she also started to work with Kaly Kolonič, the director of the World Top Model Slovenia. Ana works with multiple casting agencies and model agencies in Slovenia and abroad. In Slovenia, she is also a part of the MK model group, Models of Fotovizije and others. Currently, she is also working with Bernarda Marovt, ex-Miss Yugoslavia, the Top Model of Europe. In the model school of Bernarda Marovt, she is working as a model, a yogini, and a dancer. Ana is teaching new models yoga and how to move on the runway. Ana is also becoming one of the most recognized travelling models. She created blogs with the title Travelling Yogini, Model, Dancer where all the followers can follow her journey.

As a leader for the healthy lifestyle movement, Ana has been featured in almost all the magazines and newspaper, such as Slovenske novice, Polet, Zarja, Nova, Lea, Liza, and many more. In December 2015, Ana moved her career even further with her first book Prenatal Yoga (Joga za nosečnice), which was a great success. After that, she also wrote books Yoga Mom and Baby and Heart Yoga. The last book, Heart yoga, was also nominated for the best book of the year 2017. She started to write as an expert for internet portals, magazines, and newspapers, such as Moj malček, Bogastvo zdravja, Ringaraja, Bambino, Ženska.si, Rina, and many more.

In all the years of her active presentations in Slovenia and abroad, she was invited to all of the most important TV and radio shows all over Slovenia. In the year 2016, she was the organizer of the International Festival Om and became recognized also in media, such as 24 ur, GTV, Petelin TV, TV IDEA, TV Golica, and many more.

Her wish is to continue with her modelling career and as a TV host and to work in the entertainment industry even more. Her motto is that we only live once, but if we do it right, once is enough.

Additionally, Ana is also becoming a television personality and has hosted television programs and events such as Gostilna pr Francet. She was recently a guest on TV show V ringu with Denis Chorchyp where she provided her expert advice on how to be a mom and a businesswoman. On the TV show Klepet ob kavi, she presented her yoga path and for the RTV national program, she presented Senior yoga with her amazing yoginis.

As a model and activist for a healthy lifestyle for more than 10 years, Ana is regularly invited to speak at national conferences, aerobics, and Pilates conventions and in other events.

Ana is also the president and creative director of Devayani Yoga & Dance Lifestyle Club.
